Dog Training & More

Not every dog needs the same kind of training. Some need structure from the ground up. Some need the owner coached just as much as the dog. Some are young enough that the right start matters more than anything else. ISOK9 offers focused training built around the dog in front of you, the problems you are actually dealing with, and the kind of progress that needs to hold up at home, on walks, and in public.

Daily Structure

Dogs do better when the day has order. Training is not just commands. It is rhythm, accountability, and a dog learning how to move through the day more cleanly.

Owner Handover

The dog does not just get dropped back off with a few notes. You need to know what changed, what matters now, and what you need to keep doing once the dog goes home. Managing the dog’s new skills will practically incorporated into your daily life.

One on One Work

Private Lessons

Private lessons are for owners who want to be directly involved in the training process. Once or twice a week will involve a new skill with homework assigned for owners to do. This is hands-on work built where if you have the time and skill Josh will train you how to train your dog. This process is budget friendly and is recommended for those willing to put in the work and time.

Owner Coaching

A lot of training problems are really communication problems. Private lessons let Josh coach the owner, not just correct the dog.

Steady Progression

This is for owners who want a plan they can keep building on. Each lesson should make the next one more productive.

Early Foundations

Puppy Program

Puppy program is for young dogs that need the basics built in early before bad habits start taking over at home. The work centers on crate training, potty training, feeding routine, and play so the dog starts with more structure and the owner has a clearer path forward. Setting up boundaries at a young age that keeps bad habits from forming.

Crate Training

A crate is a safe place for your dog. The crate is the foundation of balanced training.

Potty Training

This is where getting to know your dog starts. Understanding your dog’s daily water and food consumption helps you and your dog succeed. The goal is a routine, fewer accidents, and structure from the start.

Feeding Routine

Feeding time is training time. Training time is feeding time. Feeding time is bonding time. ISOK9 will help you bond with your dog through daily feeding routines.

Puppy Play

Toys are not babysitters, they are tools to engage and bond with your dog. ISOK9 will consult with you on proper and safe toys that are appropriate for young puppies. When, how long, and where to play with your dog is an important part of the program that you will learn.

Home Habits

Small puppy problems have a way of turning into bigger ones later. Early structure helps head that off before it becomes normal.

Owner Direction

You still need to know what comes next once the puppy goes home. The goal is a better start for the dog and a clearer path for the owner.

How It Works

The first step is not picking a package off a website. It is figuring out what is actually going on with the dog, what you want to improve, and what kind of training makes sense for both of you.

Free consult

Start with a conversation to discuss your dog, the issues you are seeing, and the kind of progress you want. The phone consult is there to determine fit and outline next steps. A full evaluation takes place in person.

Training plan

Once the right service is clear, the next step is a recommendation based on the dog in front of us, not a generic script.

Ongoing support

Training only lasts if the owner can manage it moving forward. Maintain what you and your dog have learned. Following through is the most important part.

Working with Josh was the best decision I made for my dog. having rescued a very leash-reactive dog, Josh was able to help me learn about dog reactivity, behavior, and training in order to get my dog set on the right path. Within just a couple sessions, I was able to see drastic improvement in my dog's behavior. He is very knowledgeable and gets straight to the most effective ways to train your dog, not beating around the bush. His passion for dogs is contagious and it shows in his work. If you need a dog trainer, run to Josh. He's the man!

To whom it may concern, About 2 years ago I hired Josh to train my Great Pyrenees, Hugo. Hugo is now a 4 year old male Pyreness that I love dearly. Great Pyrenees are generally good natured dogs but also tend to be stubborn and independent in nature. Josh took Hugo to his facility for a full week of basic training and boy what a transformation. Hugo now responds to all the basic commands; come, sit, stay, down, and watch me. Josh provides a perfect balance of love and firmness in his training. I recommend Josh highly. He is competitively priced, reliable, and good natured.

I let Josh train my Suzy Q. She’s was a hot mess about pulling when I tried to walk. She took me down to the concrete more than once. I knew then she’d probably kill me or save my life. I didn’t know which would come first. She is so much better and she adores Josh. Letting him train her was one of my smartest decisions this year. Call him!!!

I can’t recommend Josh enough as a dog trainer. He has known my dog, Mando, since he was a puppy, and watching their journey together has been incredible. Because he’s been involved from such an early stage, he truly understands Mando’s personality, strengths, and areas that needed development. That long-term familiarity makes a huge difference. What really sets Josh apart is how knowledgeable he is about building the bond between handler and dog. He doesn’t just train commands — he teaches you how to communicate. He focuses on clarity, consistency, and trust, which creates a stronger relationship overall. The results aren’t just obedience; it’s connection and confidence on both ends of the leash. Josh is patient, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. He explains the “why” behind the training methods, which makes it easier to apply the techniques consistently. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands dogs and helps you become a better handler, Josh is the real deal.
