Good training changes more than a session. It changes walks, routines, structure at home, and the way owners feel handling their dogs day to day. This page brings that into one place through the dogs, the owners, and the feedback that followed the work.
Working with Josh was the best decision I made for my dog. having rescued a very leash-reactive dog, Josh was able to help me learn about dog reactivity, behavior, and training in order to get my dog set on the right path. Within just a couple sessions, I was able to drastic improvement in my dog’s behavior. He is very knowledgeable and gets straight to the most effective ways to train your dog, not beating around the bush. His passion for dogs is contagious and it shows in his work. If you need a dog trainer, run to Josh. He’s the man!
About 2 years ago, I hired Josh to train my Great Pyrenees, Hugo. Hugo is now a 4 year old male Pyrenees that I love dearly. Great Pyrenees are generally good natured dogs but also tend to be stubborn and independent in nature. Josh took Hugo to his facility for a full week of basic training and boy what a transformation. Hugo now respond to all my basic commands; come, sit, stay, down and watch me. Josh provides a perfect balance of love and firmness with his training.
I recommend Josh highly. He is competitively priced, reliable and good natured.
Hands down the best dog trainer that I’ve ever known. Josh started train my dog Grandy when he was about 4 months old. Grandy showed signs of hard to handle behaviors, aggression on cars, dogs, people and that’s when Josh step up and did in my opinion miracles. I don’t have enough words to describe how good he is with dogs. I call him Josh the magician. He is the only one that I trust for my dog training and also with the private 1 on 1 training I did learn a lot from him how to handle and continue train my dog. I did bond with my dog so much because of Josh approach and good knowledge.
Josh is an outstanding dog trainer, especially for Belgian Malinois. His deep knowledge of the breed truly shows. We saw an incredible transformation in our dog, Grandy, in just a couple of months—better focus, obedience, and overall behavior. What really sets Josh apart is that he didn’t just train our dog, he trained us as well, teaching us how to properly handle, communicate with, and reinforce the training at home. His communication was exceptional throughout the entire process—he kept us updated daily and regularly sent videos, which gave us complete confidence and peace of mind. The results speak for themselves. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Josh to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and effective trainer.
I can’t recommend Josh enough as a dog trainer. He has known my dog, Mando, since he was a puppy, and watching their journey together has been incredible. Because he’s been involved from such an early stage, he truly understands Mando’s personality, strengths, and areas that needed development. That long-term familiarity makes a huge difference.
What really sets Josh apart is how knowledgeable he is about building the bond between handler and dog. He doesn’t just train commands — he teaches you how to communicate. He focuses on clarity, consistency, and trust, which creates a stronger relationship overall. The results aren’t just obedience; it’s connection and confidence on both ends of the leash.
Josh is patient, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. He explains the “why” behind the training methods, which makes it easier to apply the techniques consistently. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands dogs and helps you become a better handler, Josh is the real deal.
Before training, Luna felt unpredictable and hard to manage. After board and train, everything felt clearer. She was easier to handle, more consistent, and a lot calmer in situations that used to go sideways fast. It gave us a much better foundation to keep building on.
Board and Train Results
We knew Moose needed more than a few tips and corrections here and there. He came back calmer, more responsive, and much easier to handle in the house and out in public. The biggest difference was that we finally felt like we had a way to work with him instead of constantly reacting to him.
The structure made a huge difference. Walks got better, his listening improved, and home life felt much less chaotic. What stood out most was that the training did not feel temporary. We could actually feel the change once he was back with us.

Private Lesson Results
Private lessons gave us exactly what we needed. The training felt clear, practical, and easy to keep working on between sessions. Milo started listening better, walks became more manageable, and I felt much more confident handling him on my own.
What I liked most was that the work was specific to us. It was not generic advice. We focused on the problems we were actually dealing with, and the difference showed up fast in leash walking, recall, and general control.
I wanted to stay involved in the training instead of handing everything off, and private lessons were the right fit for that. I learned how to be more consistent, Atlas started responding better, and daily life stopped feeling like such a fight.
Puppy Program Results
This program gave us a much better start than trying to figure everything out as we went. Winston came home with more structure, a better routine, and habits that made daily life easier right away.
The biggest win for us was getting the basics cleaned up early. Crate time felt easier, potty training got more consistent, and the whole day felt less random. It made a big difference in a short amount of time.
We wanted to start strong instead of fixing avoidable problems later. This helped with routine, structure, and day to day management in a way that felt realistic and useful once Bear came home.
